Smart Start Partnerships Help Their Communities after Hurricane Florence

In the wake of Hurricane Florence, Smart Start partnerships are working together and with other organizations to bring help to their communities. 

The Pamlico Partnership for Childrenpartnered with the Pamlico County Disaster Relief Coalition to bring support to those devastated by Florence. Efforts include a diaper drive and a collection of toys, clothes, and furniture.  Learn more about their hard work here and about how you can help

The Harnett County Partnership for Children also shined, proving how essential local partnerships are to their community. The partnership gathered and distributed supplies and served food to the local community. These are only a few examples of how local partnerships have assisted in their local communities to deal with devastation brought by Hurricane Florence. Each partnership will continue to assist in improving and affecting the lives of children 0-5 and their families.
