Partnership for Children of Lenoir and Green Counties celebrates One Year of StoryWalk
The Partnership for Children of Lenoir and Green Counties hosted a one year celebration of Lenoir County StoryWalk. The celebration included a scavenger hunt, gardening, physical activity, and an opportunity to experience interactive learning.
StoryWalk is an interactive, literacy experience that incorporates age appropriate books at educational stations along a ¼ mile trail at Pearson Park in Kinston, NC. The activity allows young children the opportunity to stay active, socialize with other children, interact with their parents, and learn. Every three months the twenty-one books along the path are exchanged with new books to provide children the chance to learn and grow.
