Governor Perdue Praises Smart Start Program
North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue visited the Stokes Partnership for Children on Wednesday, July 14th. She sat in on a program developed by the partnership and the local YMCA to promote healthy choices. Y-Start teaches young children about the importance of exercise and nutrition.
