Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina (PCANC) has launched Connections Matter NC, a new public awareness campaign focused on engaging North Carolinians to build caring and supportive connections in communities across the state.
Everyday connections are more important than we ever believed. Science indicates that relationships shape our brain development starting at birth. Relationships help us be better learners, employees, and parents. During tough times, relationships protect us and help us heal. Connection is the key to a healthier and stronger community!
