DESIGNEE - Amy Rhyne, Ed.S. has been an educator for over 26 years, currently serving as Senior NCDPI Director of Early Learning. Prior to this, she served as Director of Academic Support in Stanly County Schools and Iredell-Statesville Schools as an administrator, successfully restructuring two low-performing Title I Schools. Furthermore, her experience includes serving in the capacity of Instructional Coach and teaching in various Title I Schools across the district. She was the 2017-18 NC Southwest Regional Principal of the Year and recently co-authored and released her first book: How is that BEST for KIDS? Shifting School Culture with Personalized Learning. Amy also serves as a board member on The Reading League - North Carolina.
