We have a question regarding the RFP for the Evaluation of Shape NC. We noticed that the funding for the entire project is $8 million, but can you provide any further information on how much of that will be allocated to the evaluation?
The top priority is to implement a rigorous evaluation design to increase the level of evidence for Shape NC.  The RFP is intended to seek proposals for such an evaluation plan and a bid for the cost to implement that plan. We are aware of the typical range of percentages of the budget that are often set aside for evaluation funding. We also realize that sophisticated designs require significant funding and therefore would be in the higher part of that range. The selection process will not focus on choosing the lowest cost proposal. Instead, the technical merit and experience are the key determinants along with a reasonable budget.
