Executive Assistant (3yr Exp Req)
Wake County Smart Start is seeking a dynamic Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and operational support to our Executive Director, Board of Directors, and Leadership Team.
- Hiring Range: Maximum $58,521
- Benefits: Health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with matching, paid time off, life insurance
- Work Environment: This position will operate in a hybrid work structure (office-based and work at home). An individual in this position will be exposed to conditions typical of an office environment but will also need to be able to work independently and maintain work priorities in an appropriate home office-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage ED’s calendar, communications, travel, and special projects
- Support WCSS Board, including logistics and materials for Board meetings and retreats
- Serve as liaison between ED, staff, Board, and community stakeholders
- Support leadership initiatives and organization-wide events
- Provide warm, professional hospitality and front desk coverage as part of the Admin Team
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of executive support experience
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- High level of discretion, initiative, and attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Office and presentation design proficiency
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
