Smart Start in Your Community

Smart Start in Your Community

Every corner of North Carolina benefits from the Smart Start Network. 75 nonprofit partnerships—one in every North Carolina county—work towards ensuring that the state’s nearly 600,000 children five and under have access to critical early childhood services.

Smart Start Local Partnership bring together families, schools, healthcare providers, employers, and community leaders to support children and families.  Each Local Partnership uses Smart Solutions to select the best options for supporting children and families based on a community’s needs.

As a result, each Partnership provides customized services in early care and education, family support, early literacy, and health—supporting children, families, and communities alike.
