Seeking an experienced leader to spearhead the successful implementation, growth, and sustainability of two strategic initiatives, the Tri-Share Program and the new Family Navigation Portal. These two projects are vital to the work of the NC Partnership for Children and our mission of supporting young children and their families to ensure they have the support they need to reach their full potential.
The Director of Program & Business Development will require a unique blend of relationship-building, project management, and sales & marketing skills in order to navigate the unique demands of each project while also leveraging their synergies.
 Responsibilities include:
- Effectively manage two significant and distinct projects simultaneously: the Tri-Share program (cost-sharing for childcare) and the Family Navigation Portal (a technology-based resource).
- Collaborate with peer organizations and community partners to share best practices and create a network of support for program implementations and long-term sustainability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Regional Hubs, potential and current participants, NCPC staff, state partners including the Child Care Business Liaison at the NC Department of Commerce to ensure program enrollment and retention.
- Serve as the primary project manager for the research, design, development and launch of an online family navigation portal. This includes overseeing the entire project lifecycle from initial concept to deployment.
 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Early Childhood Education, Business, Public Administration, Social Work).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, sales, or related field.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strategic partnerships.
- Experience working with community-based programs or non-profit organizations is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a 3-year grant funded position. The new hire will be eligible for our generous benefits package including free employee-only health coverage and a 7% discretionary company contribution to the 401k.
Pay range: $78,979 – $94,775 annually
This role will typically involve 30-35% travel within North Carolina.
