Current Work

A HVPE System Collaborative Board is currently being formed to guide the strategic development of the statewide system for a continuum of HVPE services using the System Action Plan as a roadmap.  Membership for the public/private Board will be comprised of state and community experts including representation from all state organizations administering public HVPE funding. Additional state and community experts will participate on Board committees to contribute more diverse perspectives. The NC Partnership for Children is serving as the host agency for the Board and committees to carry out the System Action Plan and has secured most of the start-up funding to support the initial implementation phase. Early accomplishments that committees led on are the development of draft professional core competencies across all models and common messaging about the availability of services early in the pandemic and the essential nature of HVPE services.
