Crystal’s Story
“Receiving a grant from the Partnership for Children to start a garden was one of the best things that could have happened to the children as well as the staff. We find ourselves spending even more time outside enjoying nature and staying active. The children love digging in the soil, watering the plants, and planting seeds.
Our hard work really paid off! We’ve learned the steps it takes to take care of something we love. We really enjoy watching the food grow and eating the fresh food that comes out of it. We plan to keep the garden going year round for the children and the staff.”
