NCPC Partners with the BUILD Initiative to Host National e-Learning Community of Practice

Beginning in September of 2017, the North Carolina Partnership for Children–alongside ZERO TO THREE, Quality Assist, and Fathum, Inc.–will partner with the BUILD Initiative to host a national community of practice surrounding e-Learning topics in early childhood systems.  Participants engaged in early childhood e-Learning systems work are invited to join.  Presenters from the representative organizations will provide free webinars September 2017 through May of 2018 with a face-to-face culminating session at the 2018 BUILD National Meeting.  The community of practice will engage in dialog surrounding topics such as:

  • Choosing quality in e-learning and determining the “right fit”Woman at computer photo
  • Reaching underserved populations
  • Effective implementation of e-learning in QRIS
The structure of each virtual session will include:
  • Discussion of how session content has been applied to practice by members of the group
  • Presentation of the session’s main focus topic
  • Discussion of emergent themes related to the topic of the presentation

Schedule
Sessions will be held on the following dates at 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm EST to accommodate participants across the US:
  • Tuesday, September 12, 2017
  • Tuesday, November 14, 2017
  • Tuesday, January 9, 2018
  • Tuesday, March 13, 2018
  • Tuesday, May 8, 2018
  • Culminating session as part of the BUILD QRIS National Meeting: July 16-18, 2018
