Fanjul Recipiant of 2014 Razor Walker Award

Annual Award Presented to Those Who Have “Walked the Razor’s Edge” for Children of North Carolina

Stephanie Fanjul, President of The North Carolina Partnership for Children, Inc. (NCPC), has been selected as a recipient of the 2014 Razor Walker Award in the area of Public Service/Policy. The annual awards honor individuals whose vision, tenacity, courage and sacrifice have made a difference in the lives of young people in our state.

Award recipients come from different backgrounds and walks of life, all areas of the state, and a variety of different professions, but they all have one thing in common: an unwavering commitment to give North Carolina’s children every opportunity to grow up strong and healthy, receive a high quality education, and become our society’s future leaders.

The awards, created in 1993 by the University of North Carolina Wilmington’s (UNCW) Watson College of Education, celebrate the efforts, achievements and contributions of those who believe so strongly that our children are our most precious resource. Fanjul will accept the award at a ceremony on May 1, 2014 at Burney Center Ballroom at UNCW.
