Do we have to match this grant dollar for dollar?
Subgrantees are required to match the entire amount of the subgrant expended on a dollar-for-dollar basis. The match must be in new, unrestricted, non-federal cash; in-kind match is not allowable. At the time of the application, subgrantees must verify the match funding plan through a support letter signed by ED/CEO and Board Chair that: 1) demonstrates 25% of the documented funds on hand and, 2) a plan for meeting 100% of the first year cash match requirement by the third quarter. 100% of the first year cash match must be met by March 14th, 2018.
